We all know that it is forbidden to tattoo one’s own body or the body of some other person. Such a sinful act draws the curse of Nabi (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) and we deprive ourselves of the mercy of Allah Ta’ala. Unfortunately the western media portrays tattooing as a means of enhancing one’s beauty. The youth, who often fall for any new trend, get caught up in the tattoo craze. The interest and inclination towards tattoos is created in a youngster from his very childhood days.

A couple were once seated for meals. Suddenly a knock was heard at the door from a beggar standing outside. The husband in a fit of rage approached the beggar, scolded him and chased him away. As time passed it so happened that this wealthy man became poor. He lost his entire empire and eventually even ended up divorcing his wife.

3 cups cake flour

3 tblsp butter

Pinch of Salt

1 tsp mixed herb / parsley

Enough diluted warm milk

Add water to make dough (+/- 1 cup)

The Two Most Beloved Things

Generally the two things that are most beloved to a person are his/her life and wealth. Hence the more we sacrifice our life and our wealth for Allah Ta’ala, the more we will become beloved to Allah Ta’ala. For example making wudhu on a cold winter morning, or waking up for fajr by breaking our sweet deep sleep in the short summer nights are actions of sacrifice which are greatly valued in the court of Allah Ta’ala. If our wealth is not spent in avenues pleasing to Allah Ta’ala, it will be wasted in channels that will please Shaytaan, the devil.
