Assalamo aleikum! I have 3 kidz all boys alhamdolillah. I love them very much but I can’t give them proper live attention and care I don’t know what to do? I love my kidz more than everything or anything but can’t show or express that love! When they far from me I cry I miss them but when they near me or with me I only make gussa on them and shout to them then I feel very bad after treating them like this! They very stubborn and they don’t listen to me that’s make me more angry and then I lose control over myself! What should I do maulana to be a good mother loving and caring mother and to give my kidz a good education and good manners?

What is the ruling regarding birthdays? Our muslims greet one another on this day and feel insulted if one does not greet them. Another issue is regarding birthday cakes, gifts and parties. Please advise.

Kissing one's male cousins

Last Updated on Tuesday, 15 May 2012 09:33

May I please have advice (sin, punishment etc) that I can pass on to those females that kiss their male cousins upon greeting and advice to the male cousins that allow their cousins to kiss them. May I also have advice that I may pass on to females that kiss their brother in laws. May Allah reward you in abundance in both worlds, Ameen.

Slaughtering a Black Goat

Last Updated on Saturday, 28 April 2012 12:24

Assalaamu alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh

My husband recently went to see a Hakeem as he believes that someone has done something to him. He came back with water to drink and lemons that he should rub on his body after he must cut up  the lemon and throw it away. The hakeem also told him to buy a black goat which he must slaughter and rub the goat’s blood on his body after 2hours he should wash it off. He received a taweez as well. Is this allowed in Islam as i have not heard of it before? He brought the same prescription for me as well even though i did not inform him whether i have a problem or not. I am doubting all this and would appreciate it if you could give more clarity on this matter.
