Cake
Ingredients:
125 g butter
¾ cup brown sugar
3 tsp Frisco coffee
1 tbsp hot water
¼ cup custard powder
2 eggs
1 tsp baking powder
2 tsp vanilla
1/3 cup milk
1 cup flour
Method:
Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat. Mix coffee and water together. Add custard powder and coffee mixture. Add sifted flour and baking powder alternately with milk.
Pour into greased baking pan and bake on 180 degrees.
Topping
Ingredients:
30 g butter
1 tsp coffee
1tsp water
+/- ½ cup icing sugar
Method:
Melt butter, add coffee and water. Allow to boil. Add icing sugar gradually until thin enough to pour over cake.
Remove from stove and pour over cake.
Optional:
Make coffee cake recipe. Before baking add pieces of Dairy Milk chocolate. Bake and drizzle with chocolate.
