Step 1:
Ingredients:
1 kg chicken fillets
Juice of ½ lemon (rind optional)
1 ½ tsp ground garlic
½ tsp Aromat
1 tsp coarsely ground black pepper
¼ tsp white pepper
1 tsp salt
½ tsp arad (haldi)
½ tbsp mellow and mild mustard sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp fresh herbs (½ thyme + ½ origanum)
1 tbsp yoghurt
1 tsp honey
1 tbsp green chillies and garlic
Method:
Slit fillet length wise to make a pocket. Mix above ingredients and marinate for one hour.
Step 2:
Filling:
1 disc feta cheese (crumbled)
½ cup chopped olives
½ cup chopped pepper dews
½ cup grated cheese
Black pepper to taste
Mixed herbs
Method:
Mix together and stuff into fillet. Braai over coal, grill or steam.
Optional: If steamed, serve with mushroom sauce.
