Respected Sister in Islam
A woman has been declared the queen of the home. She is responsible for all the aspects that pertain to inside the home. Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) had apportioned the responsibility of all the work outside the home to Sayyiduna ‘Ali (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) and all the work inside the home to Sayyidah Faatimah (radhiyallahu ‘anha). (Musannaf Ibni Abi Shaibah #29677)
If you are already of marriageable age, your priority would be to acquire complete home training so that you are fully equipped to undertake your primary responsibilities in later life. In any case if you wish to attend madrasah, provided that all the shar‘ee requirements are upheld in your going and returning from madrasah as well as in studying there, then this will be very beneficial insha-Allah. As for being in the shop, if this should require you to interact with non-mahram males, etc., then it would not be permissible. In such a situation you should respectfully decline. If you wish to render some assistance from home (such as any paper work, etc.) you may do so.
