I recently attended a wedding which, Alhamdulillah, was very well organised in terms of sharee‘ah compliance. However, one matter has been troubling my conscience, namely the taking of photographs. Although I did not participate in the photography myself, I feel deeply uneasy about it.

Ingredients:
4 Tbsp halaal gelatine
1 cup water
Mix and soak in a bowl
2 cups boiling water
3 cups sugar
Method:
Place water and sugar in a pot. Stir to dissolve. Bring to boil. Then add gelatine. Boil uncovered for 20 minutes. Cool to lukewarm. Meanwhile line and grease a pan with plastic and oil.
