Add a little crunch to your braai
Vegetables:
½ of a big cabbage or 2 baby cabbages
2 carrots
¼ of a red onion
Few chives
Dressing:
¾ cup mayonnaise
3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
½ tsp salt
¼ cup sweet chilli sauce
2 tsp brown sugar
Grinding of black pepper
Sprinkling of dried parsley
Method:
Wash and finely shred the cabbage.
Peel and julienne the carrots.
Slice the onion very finely and squeeze out all the water from it in a cloth or paper towel.
Combine all the vegetables except the chives.
Mix together all the dressing ingredients.
Add to the vegetables and toss.
Garnish with chopped chives.
Variation:
Add some chopped jalapeño peppers for extra heat.
