On one occasion, a certain Sahaabi asked Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam), “When will Qiyaamah occur?” In response, Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) asked him, “What have you prepared for the Day of Qiyaamah?” (Saheeh Bukhaari #6167)

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَن تُغْنِىَ عَنْهُمْ أَمْوَٰلُهُمْ وَلَآ أَوْلَـٰدُهُم مِّنَ ٱللَّـهِ شَيْـًٔا ۖ وَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ ۚ هُمْ فِيهَا خَـٰلِدُونَ ﴿١١٦﴾ مَثَلُ مَا يُنفِقُونَ فِى هَـٰذِهِ ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنْيَا كَمَثَلِ رِيحٍ فِيهَا صِرٌّ أَصَابَتْ حَرْثَ قَوْمٍ ظَلَمُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ فَأَهْلَكَتْهُ ۚ وَمَا ظَلَمَهُمُ ٱللَّـهُ وَلَـٰكِنْ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ ﴿١١٧﴾
Indeed, those who disbelieve, neither their wealth nor their progeny will avail them in the least against Allah Ta‘ala, they are the people of the fire, they will remain therein …
