Prior to becoming a great saint and Muhaddith of this Ummah, Zaazaan (rahimahullah) was involved in sin. However, Allah Ta‘ala blessed him to repent and change his life at the hands of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah bin Mas‘ood (radhiyallahu ‘anhu).
